What do you need to quote a junk car?
Cash For Junk Cars Westside Chicago LLC needs four things to quote a junk car on Chicago's West Side: the year, make and model, whether you have the title, and where the car is parked. Fill in the form, we call you back with an offer, and if you agree we tow it free and pay you at pickup.
What we ask, and why
- Year, make and model. This sets the starting point: the size and weight of the car and which parts still have value.
- Title. A title in your name makes the sale simplest. If you don't have one, pick "No" or "registration only" and we'll talk through the options on the call. Illinois law sets which papers count for a scrap sale. More on that in selling a car without a title.
- Name and phone. So we can call you with the number. We use them for this car and nothing else.
- More than one car? Send the form for one and mention the others on the call. A single pickup can take several.
- Pickup address. A street address, a cross street or just a ZIP code is enough to start. We need the exact spot before a truck comes.
What happens once you hit send

- We ask a few questions about condition: does it start, does it roll, is anything missing, is there crash damage.
- You get an offer. It doesn't expire, so take the time you need; nothing is booked until you say yes.
- We set a pickup time. Same day is often possible.
- At pickup the driver checks the car against what you told us, you sign it over, and you're paid in cash, by Zelle or by Cash App.
